The railway is usually open every Sunday from 12.00. Last train is indicated on the station clocks but will not run after 16.00. Train runs and running times are weather dependant.
We offer free rides to visitors, with donations gratefully received, to cover the cost of coal etc.
We are about 1½ miles from leaving the motorway.
Leave the M6 at Jct 28, follow signs for Leyland B5256
Take second left into Bent Lane, continue to the end of Bent Lane to a mini roundabout, taking the 2nd exit onto Church Road B5248
Almost immediately you will be at another mini roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Langdale Road
Continue to the end of Langdale Road passing Runshaw College on your left, and turn right at the ‘T’ junction, onto Worden Lane.
Approx. 300 yds. on your left you will see the large entrance gates to Worden Park, (The post code PR25 3BD when used as Sat Nav co-ordinates will only take you to the park gates)as you enter these gates drive straight through and bear to the right and pass straight through the tarmacked car park into the parkland itself.
Continue on the single vehicle pathway, beware of speed ramps and bear right, keeping the duck pond and Crazy Golf hut on your left.
Proceed over the small crossroads passing the public toilets and some green storage containers on your right.
Take the first left and you will see our clubhouse and reserved car parking facilities.

Thursday evening meetings are held at the Leyland Conservative Club, 70 Stanifield Ln, Farington, Leyland PR25 4GA. From Jct. 28, follow signs for Leyland B5256 and follow the road until you come to two mini roundabouts, taking the second exit on the first (straight on) and the second exit on the second (right turn) onto Turpin Green Lane and follow the road for a short distance to a larger roundabout in the town centre. Follow signs for the railway station B5254, so taking the second exit again, onto a short stretch of dual carriageway and turn right at the lights onto Golden Hill Lane B5254. Follow the road round, past the Nat West bank, where the road changes to Station Brow, past the railway station and take the first exit on the mini roundabout onto Preston Road, still the B5254. Follow the road for a few hundred yards, it changes again to Stanifield Lane, the Conservative Club is situated on the right.
